Perspectives on America from Abroad

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
From here in 'actual' America (as opposed to the border-filtered global America perceived in other nations), the strings that lead from Cheney et al's hands down to Howdy Dubya's jaw and limbs aren't as apparent as they are from abroad; probably because abroad is always the first and often the only place that feels the full effects of America's political machinations. People I've talked to in my travels around the States ARE embarrassed at their "president," always saying that they didn't vote for him unless they made a mistake at the polls, and have noticed that Howdy is never caught alone by the press anymore and no longer offers those excruciating statements on his own, just prepared and carefully practiced text from which he dare not depart under pain of reality. "What, me worry?" is the operative mode. Please folks, be aware of what Howdy's puppeteers are doing to the American political system and vote him--and his handlers---out of office!!! I'd like to talk about something else in this space! I will next time. Stay tuned.
